MONDAY, OCTOBER 26: Wipe Out the Waste Day, noon, Gibbs-Green Plaza. Sponsored by the Student Government Association Blue, White and Green Committee and the Department of Facilities and Construction Management.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27: Gorgeously Green Fashion Show, 6 p.m., General Purpose Room, Jabob L. Reddix Hall (old student union). Featuring JSU's Insatiable Modeling Squad. Host: Jay Jones. DJ: T-Money. Entertainment: Outspoken and MADDRAMA. Sponsored by the Special Topics in Mass Communications class and the Department of Facilities and Construction Management. Fashion Show clothes will be donated and thrift store items, as well as items made out of trash and recyclable materials. Please bring an item of clothing to donate to charity. Recyclables also are welcome.
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28: Blackburn Middle School Art Exhibit, JSU Student Center. Blackburn students taking art classes are creating artwork using recycled and recyclable materials. Prizes are being awarded for first, second and third place. The JSU Art Department will judge their artwork. Sponsored by the Special Topics in Mass Communications class and the Department of Facilities and Construction Management.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29: Arbor Day, noon, Gibbs-Green Plaza. Sponsored by the JSU Department of Facilities and Construction Management.
